If convicted, Daniels faces a sentence of up to 99 years in prison for sex trafficking in the first degree. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges in the indictment are only allegations and are not evidence of guilt. Daniels is entitled to a fair trial where the State must prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury. Daniels is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court on Friday, May 26, 2017. Bail has not been set yet on this case.
