About the Anchorage District Attorney's Office
The Anchorage District Attorney’s Office is the largest district attorney’s office within the Division. The office has 37 attorneys, 12 victim-witness paralegals, and 19 administrative support positions. The office boasts specialized units to include a General Trial Unit, a Domestic Violence Unit, a Sexual Assault Unit, and a Major Crimes Unit. In addition to the Anchorage bowl, the office prosecutes cases across the region, including offenses occurring in Unalaska, and Sand Point. The Anchorage District Attorney is also responsible for the satellite office located in Dillingham.
Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska situated in the heart of the Chugach State Park. Anchorage has an urban feel but is footsteps away from the adventure Alaskan’s crave.
