Registered Charitable Organizations and Paid Solicitors

Charitable organizations and paid solicitors that solicit contributions of money or property in Alaska are required to register with the Department of Law annually. All documents submitted by charitable organizations and paid solicitors for the purpose of registration are available to the public.

Registration does not constitute approval or endorsement of a charitable organization or paid solicitor by the Department of Law or the State of Alaska. Charitable organizations that are exempt from the registration requirement may not appear on the Department's list of registered charities.
