Reminder: April 13 Deadline for Dell Refunds

The Alaska Attorney General reached a settlement in January 2009 with Dell Inc. and Dell Financial Services to addresses the company's practices related to financing promotions, technical support and repair policies, and rebate offers. View the press release.

Under the agreement, Dell agreed to pay $25,000 in restitution to eligible Alaskans who file claims by April 13, 2009. Refunds may be available to consumers who purchased Dell products between April 1, 2005 and January 12, 2009 and who are owed money as a result of the practices described in the settlement.

Alaskans who believe they are eligible for a refund should submit a claim form to the Department of Law. To request that a form be mailed to you, please call 269-5200, or outside of Anchorage, 1-888-576-2529.
