Anchorage Man to Plead Guilty for 2006 Homicide
July 28, 2015
(ANCHORAGE Alaska) – On July 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., 34 year old Richard Hunter will plead guilty to manslaughter for his role in the 2006 death of Randall Roe. Hunter was originally convicted in 2009 of murder in the second degree and tampering with evidence by an Anchorage jury.
Hunter’s conviction was reversed by the Alaska Court of Appeals in 2013. The Court of Appeals determined that there were “evidentiary issues” which required a reversal of the conviction for murder in the second degree.
