Anchorage Man Convicted of June 2014 Crime Spree

(Anchorage, AK) – Today, an Anchorage jury found 43 year old Travis Felder guilty of sexually and physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend and then entering a separate home and assaulting the homeowners inside the residence.  The jury verdicts come after 17 days of trial.

The jury found Felder guilty of sexual assault in the first degree, assault in the first degree, two counts of assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, two counts of assault in the fourth degree, and two counts of criminal trespass in the first degree.

The jury found Felder not guilty of attempted sexual assault in the first degree and coercion.

The testimony at trial showed that in June 2014 Felder sexually and physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend, then entered an Anchorage home and assaulted the couple who lived there causing serious physical injury to the female resident. He was later arrested by the Anchorage Police Department.

Superior Court Judge Michael Wolverton scheduled sentencing for July 14, 2017. Felder faces a sentencing range of 40 to 99 years in prison. Felder is in the custody of the Department of Corrections and will remain there until his sentencing.
