Anchorage Man Convicted of Robbery in the First Degree

(ANCHORAGE, AK)--On April 11, 2018, an Anchorage jury convicted 51-year old Harold Wilson of Robbery in the First Degree and Assault in the Fourth Degree.
On March 4, 2017, Anchorage police responded to a robbery call at the Black Angus Inn and quickly located the vehicle identified in the robbery. Anchorage police had to employ a pit maneuver to forcefully cause the vehicle to stop. Harold Wilson was apprehended after a short foot chase and was identified as the driver of that vehicle.
Superior Court Judge Michael Corey presided over the trial. Sentencing is scheduled for August 3, 2018. Wilson faces a presumptive sentencing range of 13 to 20 years in prison on the count of Robbery in the First Degree.
