The Department has a Civil Division and a Criminal Division. The Civil Division has many sections, with offices in Juneau, Fairbanks, Bethel, Kenai, Palmer, Nome, and Anchorage.
The Criminal Division has 13 regional District Attorney's offices located in Anchorage, Bethel, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Kotzebue, Nome, Palmer, Sitka and Utqiaġvik. The Division also has an Office of Criminal Appeals and an Office of Special Prosecutions.
Each division is supervised by a Deputy Attorney General.
